Inshallah - God willing

Let's explore this idea of God willing.

Do you believe nothing happens unless God wills it?
Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

That question is readily answered in John 3:27

''a man can have nothing unless God gives it to him"

This proves, among other issues, that there is no free will.

I was born with a medical condition in which I stop breathing in my sleep (a problem that caused me much illness throughout my life and which was misdiagnosed for decades). It was not my free will choice to be born with and nearly die of this condition.

People have options in many aspects of their lives. But not all such as this particular matter.

So when I make a fire is God each moment actively willing the fire to appear?

So when a man murders another man are they responsible?

Did God give a down syndrome person down syndrome?

Your verse is being used very narrowly.

And how does your belief that God creates evil work with these verses?

The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He," (Deut. 32:4).
"Thine eyes are too pure to approve evil, and Thou canst not look on wickedness with favor," (Hab. 1:13).

It is significant that the Latin term for god is deus - this is similar to other Romance languages where the root for the word god is the same as the root for the number two. This because god (whether the Judeo-Christian one) or pagan gods were always thought to have dual natures. Dual in that he/she was both good and evil.

Spanish: dios - god = dos - two

French: dieu - god = deux - two

Latin: deus - god = duo - two

Isaiah 45:7 is Mosaic law's acknowledgement of this duality though it is not taught in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

What value is there in worshiping a God that is evil?

Which portion of the Bible suggests God is exclusively evil? Cite the rendition and quote the verses are you referring to.

I don't need to because even if God is 1 millionth of a part evil it is not enough to not trust the Bible. Multiply that tiny percentage of evil over infinity and you still a lot of evil and no solid promises of salvation from God.
