I've been building PCs since 2012, but now I can finally say I'm a proud member of the PCMR. I finally got a Gsync monitor, the 27" Acer Predator XB1, which has no screen tearing issues.
For those who are interested, my gaming rig has
Gigabyte Z370 HD3 motherboard, running F8 BIOS
Intel Core i7 8700K CPU
16GB DDR4-2400 RAM in dual channel
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti Graphics card
500GB m.2 SATA SSD
1TB + 5TB Hard Drives
1x Blu-ray Reader + 1x Blu-ray Burner drives
2.1 Logitech PC Speakers, running off of a USB Creative Sound Blaster card
And if I'm out and about? I've got a 15.3" Alienware laptop, 16GB RAM, Core i7 7700HQ and GTX 1060 6GB that I have no complaints over (other than it doesn't have Gsync).
