John 1:1- Abused for 2,000 years!

It is so EASY to understand it, IF you read the context of the chapter- and the whole book!

But, for 2,000 years, Churchianity cast a spell on mankinds to think it means~

In the beginning was Jesus, and Jesus was with Jesus, and Jesus was Jesus!

Yes, Jesus IS God! But not as taught by the Churches!

Let's look closer at the context here- then continue thru the whole book!

John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2- He was in the beginning with God; 3 all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.

Since even Trinitarians admit the THREE 'Co-Equal' 'Persons' are not THREE Gods, this alone shows the Word (Jesus) isn't LITERALLY God, but represented Him- for ONE God was not WITH another God. The word was WITH the entity "God". And no Third ANYTHING is mentioned! This would have been the ideal place for the 'Trinity' to be taught and explaned, but no mention was made of it- as with the ENTIRE Bible!

Hebrew 1:1- In many and various ways God spoke of old to our fathers by the prophets;
2- but in these last days He has spoken to us a son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world. 3- He reflects the glory of God and bears the very stamp of His nature, upholding the universe by His word of power. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

John 1:1- with more detail!

He SPOKE to mankind thru His son- THAT is why He called him the WORD of God- as He did the scriptures.
He didn't make all things directly- but THRU His son (the Beginning).
He REFLECTS and bears the STAMP ("express image" in other translations) of God's glory and character.
He upholds all things by GOD'S power- not any power of his own.
He now sits at God's Right Hand. A "Right Hand man" in today's lingo!

God also SPOKE thru those that represented Him, as with angels, and MOSES~

Ex 7:1- And Jehovah said to Moses, See, I have made thee God to Pharaoh; and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. - Darby

The only translation (except the NWT) that doesn't add "a" "like" or "as" to the verse, since it is NOT there in the Hebrew.
And there is no upper/lower case in the biblical languages- they are ADDED by TRANSLATORS, according to their OPINIONS. God/god= same thing.

God inspired Paul to make THIS comparson, which ties in nicely with John 1:1~

Heb 3:2- He was faithful to the One who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God's house.

No, neither Christ nor Moses, even tho CALLED "God" by God Himself, were not LITERALLY God- but STOOD for Him (NOT "Them").
And no one can appoint God to ANYTHING!

John 1:10- He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not.

If Jesus was literally God, it would simply SAY that and that He made the world through no one else.
It doesn't.

John 1:12- But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.

Not " became His Own children".
Him and God are ALWAYS shown to be separate.

John 1:14- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only son from the Father.

NOT The Glory of God or any 'Trinity'.
"Trinty" is a church-fabricated word for a fabricated dogma.

John 1:18- No one has ever seen God; the only son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has made Him known.

Now this was written by John AFTER Jesus had died, been resurrected, and returned to Heaven.
How could the Bible have made it any clearer?
THOUSANDS saw Christ- no one saw God Himself!

But, alas, if you make a list (or put a dot) of every scripture in John showing something about God and Christ- the 'Trinity' quickly evaporates.

John 1:29- The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Not "God", nor "God-the-Lamb".
