A Sane Perspective

Some loss is irrevocable and meaningless. It is true that you can come out stronger afterwards, more detached or determined, say. But to say "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is to be attached to a chimera of progress, rather than being healthily detached and sober-minded. Acceptance of loss isn't something cumulative that just keeps growing and growing. That is to take shelter in an illusion in my opinion. Rather, you have to make the best use of a given situation, accepting it as is and not putting any redeeming frills on it. Sometimes there ain't nothing to redeem it. It really would have been better had it been the other way around.
To say that it has redemptive purpose is to be still attached to false meaning and incapable of accepting loss. Any kind of loss.

That said, there is much REAL MEANING we should, at all times, at least try to avail ourselves of. Though that may take practice, like panning for gold. Nevertheless, one needs no materialistic credentials to find that gold, which is purely spiritual and available to all who ask consistently in prayer.
