The Written Word of God is "theopneustos," God Breathed. This thread is not about this theopneustos of God's Word, but it is about the folly of human pursuit being justified by intuitive responses to suggestions..
The core of human folly is to assume thoughts and words constitute reality. This manifests in such as boasting, lies, corrupted narratives, and milque toast declarations. The correct avoidance of folly is to walk in obedience to The Spirit of God, rather than responsively trying to "create" something unique and germane. Obedience to God does not involve our creativity.
God directs both our paths and steps. He does not tell us to create or devise anything. He has already given us all we need for obedience and righteousness. So, when we hear the word "inspiration" floating around within doctrinal discussions relating to Godliness, we are to decide that speaker is in error.
As an example, Jesus never commanded any sort of action by His Believers which today is called "nice." He never spoke an equivalent of "nice" to be pursued. In fact, Jesus was routinely not "nice" in His statements of fact and righteousness to people before Him, not as he spoke literally and spoke in parables. Agape is not a matter of chit-chat "nice." This is why Women are not to be in Church leadership. They erroneously assume "nice" must be emotionally painted upon all Theology and Doctrine.

Post #3So, what you are saying here is that issues about doctrine and theology must be framed, stated, and propositioned using just the right words for you.otseng wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 8:45 pm Moderator Action
