Congrats to all. I hope y'all have a great debating year ahead.
To know that many folks'd be willing to put up with meeting me is really kinda cool. 'Preciate it whomever y'all are.
Happy New Year!
?
Rule 1. To determine whether to use whoever or whomever, here is the rule: him/ he equals whoever, him/ him equals whomever.
Rule 2. When the entire whoever/whomever clause is the subject of the verb that follows the clause, look inside the clause to determine whether to use whoever or whomever.
So now what do I do?
How does "y'all" figure into all that?
