I thought I survived pretty well without getting banned.
A major accomplishment for some of us, but you'd have thought maybe at least an
'honorable mention' for something.
I got '2d place in a beauty contest once' playing Monopoly. I had the card framed. It's still my only award.

Winner of the 2012 No Award award:
Post #6I won the 2012 No Award award. Of course I have no award to prove this. It's solely a faith-based victory. You'll just have to take my word for it.
My congratulations go out to everyone who won an actual tangible secular award.
Special congrats to Catalyst and ThatGirlAgain both of whom won awards in two categories! And miraculously even shared a single victory together in a single category. This almost defies random chance! But that's an issue for statisticians to philosophize over.
These two winners of the "Best Debater" award are also both female. How ironic is that on a Debating Christianity site?
Christianity holds that women are supposed to keep their mouths shut on matters of politics and religion, and only confide in their husbands. Yet here we see striking proof that women are the "Best Debaters" of all.
You'd think God would have known this and placed women in charge instead of men?
This leads me to believe that the Wiccan Moon Goddess is far more likely to be the true description of our creator, and that the male-chauvinistic God of the Hebrews is clearly just a MAN-made fiction created by men who were desperately attempting to find an excuse not to have to debate with the superior minds of women.

Post #7I trust, D.I. you are not implying that our spiritual 'faith-based' awards are in any way comprable to mere 'tangible' awards.Divine Insight wrote: I won the 2012 No Award award. I count those things of the flesh, these mere mere worldly treasures, as dross. Don't we store up our spiritual rewards where moth and rust cannot corrupt?

I have extreme issues and problems with the whole "flesh versus spirit" thing.
I placed my values in human relationships and love, and every one of those people are now dead. That only woke me up to the reality that the most spiritual aspects of life (i.e. the ones we love and cherish) are indeed flesh and blood themselves.
By the way, since there was no official 2012 Charisma Award, I hereby abstractly create and assign this award to you. In a purely spiritual sense, of course.

Dear meshak,
You take a lot of abuse from me in your threads. And I apologize for this as it truly is a form of "collateral damage" in a larger "war of religious ideals".
However, I do fully understand that your intent is as sincere and genuine as it can be. Therefore I officially bestow unto you the spiritually abstract award of "Disciple of Jesus". And I hope you'll accept this award with the heartfelt sincerity with which it is offered. I have no doubt that you are indeed the most sincere disciple you can be.
