Strict rule policy on homosexuality threads

Post by otseng »

The most contentious threads here on this forum have been topics dealing with homosexuality. And it has experienced the most rule violations out of all the topics. The moderating team has decided to enforce a strict rule policy on all threads dealing with homosexuality. If a moderator believes a post is in violation of any of the rules, it will be subject to immediate post deletion. Challenges to a post deletion should only be sent via PM and will be noted, but will not necessarily get any response from any moderators.

If you are concerned that your post will be deleted without any warning, then simply do not participate in the homosexuality threads.

Below are the rules that posters should especially take notice of:

1. No personal attacks of any sort are allowed.

2. Nothing "R" rated is allowed (this includes profanity and anything of sexual nature).

4. Stay on the topic of debate. If a topic brings up another issue, start another thread.

5. Support your assertions/arguments with evidence. Do not make blanket statements that are not supportable by logic/evidence.

7. Do not post frivolous, flame bait, or inflammatory messages.

13. Appeals and challenges to decisions made by moderators should not be made in public. The proper channel is to send a PM to a moderator and to discuss it directly and in private.

14. In general, all members are to be civil and respectful.
