No definite time has been set yet. But, we'll start the debate once enough people have replied back that they are ready to start. However, I'm thinking about starting a thread for us to put down general impressions of the book as we're reading it.RyanP wrote:When does it start and what is the format?

Currently reading it, and some of it surprises me as I’d never read the book before. otseng, I like your idea about a general impressions thread. Do it! Do it now!

I'm not sold on this. First, the only concession to theists I know of is the "by their creator" addition found in the conclusion of the sixth edition. Second, later editions incorporated a number of very specific responses to criticisms that made the book more robust, IMHO.Pazuzu bin Hanbi wrote:First edition — the one without all the concessions to theists, etc.
I know my presence on this site has been restricted to lurking, but as this is a favorite text of mine, I'd like to be included in the discussion, if that's possible.
As ever, Jesse
