What is forum, category, subforum, thread?

Forum:
- This entire site
- Also known as discussion board, bulletin board.

Category:
- A collection of subforums.
- The major categories in the forum are: Information, Debate, Discussion, and Miscellaneous.

Subforum:
- A section where threads reside in. Each subforum contains threads that are of a general area. For instance, the Science and Religion subforum contains threads that are related to science.
- Other sites sometimes call this a forum, but to avoid ambiguity it is called a subforum here.

Thread:
- A thread is composed of posts that is related to a certain topic. An example of a thread is Six Random Questions.
- Also called topic.

Post:
- A single message that is posted to the forum.
