Paradise on Earth

When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?

If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.

We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

The Hebrew Word used in this passage is "adh" and it is used to speak of something that endures without end. The same Word for example is used to speak of the Messianic ruler who becomes mankind's "eternal" (adh) Father (see Isaiah 9v6). Thus we can conclude that the humans * that remain obedient to God will have everlasting ("eternal ") unending life.

This is a summary of the history and fate awaiting all mankind according to the Bible.

Mankind was created originally with only two differences between him and the angels! Those two differences were knowledge of good and evil and body type -- physical versus spiritual. After eating from the Tree of Knowledge, there is now only one difference remaining. That difference is body type.

God and the angels have immortal spiritual bodies, while man has a mortal physical body.

Humans who qualify for immortality have their names written in the Book of Life.

At the second coming and the end of time, those with their names written in the Book of Life will be born again of the Spirit with immortal spiritual bodies.

Those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire and quickly perish, never to live again.

Every human who ever lived either has his or her name in the Book of Life or does not have his or her name in the Book of Life.

After the last living man or woman receives their reward or punishment, the age of man will be over -- as the Book of Life has been cleared. There will never be another man or woman because there are no humans alive to give birth to another human baby.

This is the end of the age of man as created in the Garden of Eden. It will have covered 7,000 years.

Those whose names were written in the Book of Life will then reign and rule over the earth with their Savior forever.

I have no interest in your manmade theology. However my POSTS are full of specific points (numbered) with supporting scriptures for each point. If you would like to address any of them with counterargumental scriptures, for each point, feel free. Otherwise your sweeping rhetoric may be more effective on someone that doesn't know scripture as well as I do.

The righteous human believers were changed into righteous spiritual beings equal unto the angels, at the Second Coming.

These spiritual bodied beings are righteous also, and they live forever -- unlike humans.

They also have no hunger, pain, sorrow, or other undesirable human characteristics.

We are instructed in the Lord's prayer to pray for the Earth to become part of the Kingdom of Heaven once again:

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

After the Second Coming and Jesus' defeat of Satan, the Earth will once again become part of the kingdom:

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

ARE THE RIGHTEOUS THAT WILL LIVE ON EARTH FOREVER HUMANS CHANGED INTO SPIRITS?


No. Once a human is changed into'a spirit (through death) they MUST go to heaven. Heaven, (not the physical planet of earth) becomes their home.

1 CORINTHIANS 15: 47-49

The first man is from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven. Like the one made of dust, so too are those made of dust; and like the heavenly one, so too are those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the one made of dust, we will bear also the image of the heavenly one.

Transformed into spirits, humans become "heavenly ones" and are invited (by Jesus) to join him ("the heavenly one") in heaven. They are NOT destined to live in the physical realm but take up the invitation to join Jesus in his Fathers "house" (heaven) - see John14:2
