How is one saved?

Some people say you need to pray the sinner's prayer, some say believe in Jesus... is there a clear instruction from the Bible how to be saved?

You must understand that myth-one is of the opinion that mankind as we live upon this earth has no spirit. That God gave us none.

We have no spiritual bodies -- only physical bodies. Believers will gain spiritual bodies when born again of the Spirit. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Being born again is about setting aside ones own willful spirit and adopting that of God.

Being born again is a real event which occurs at the resurrection. Mortal Christian bodies (both dead and alive) will be born again as everlasting spiritual bodies. At that time we will no longer be human. Only humans can perish. Thus, we are saved from death -- the wages of sin.

Human Christians who set aside their own willful spirit and adopt that of God (as you say) will still die.

Sadly myth-one's view point does not allow for the Spirit of God to reside within. He has to die before he can become born again.

And so do you, unless you live to see the Second Coming.

He can not set aside his own willful spirit as he has no spirit to set aside.

I have no immortal spiritual body. I have a willful nature -- being a natural being. Call it what you like -- except be aware that it is not a separate conscious spiritual body defined as me, living within my physical body.

He can not adopt, and become born again to the Spirit of God because that, in his view, requires him to die first so that he can become a spirit. He is stuck with no relationship with God.

I am stuck with the scriptures as inspired by God. I have a great relationship with God. I'm am not handicapped by having to explain indefensible "Christian" theologies such as God being love and letting even one person being tortured eternally in hellfire.

How pathetic.

You are stuck with what you have been told to believe.

But some day you will know the truth, and it will set you free from these myths:

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
