Did Paul base creeds on “mystery to make Christianity a blind-faith?
But Jesus believed with reason.
Paul, for his own suitability, wanted that people should inculcate blind-faith in them instead of reason and Revelation from God, to bring them under his control.
The truthful Religion has got nothing to do with blind-faith, please.

Yes, Paul did not claim to be a prophet in so many words, but he claimed to have a conversation with Jesus whom he upgraded, fictionally, as God and it is one of the creeds of Pauline-Christianity :

Post #72Paul faked a vision that Jesus talked to him while Jesus along-with Mary and some close friends had gone out of Judea lest the Jews catch him again and kill him. Paul had no conversation with YHVH/Allah.marco wrote:Can you tell me what is the difference between Paul claiming to have had a miraculous conversion and Muhammad claiming to have received words from God? Post #73That's possible. Many other takes are possible as well. Given Paul's seeming sincerity it is probable he DID experience something and interpreted this as divine revelation in exactly the same way as Muhammad did or indeed Mirz Ghulm Ahmad. It is reasonable to suppose all three were wrong in their interpretations, without being deliberate deceivers.paarsurrey1 wrote:

We know that Paul was blind for three days from the brilliance of Christ Light.
Is there a record how was Muhammad affected by his contact with Allah.

If one has suffered some psychological trauma then it is unsurprising that one might become deaf or dumb through shock. Muhammad thought he had gone mad on his encounter with a named angel, Gabriel as it happened, but his first wife, Khadija, who was once his employer, put him right. It was definitely a message from God. I think had Paul the savvy of Khadija he would have risen to prophet status too.

Read some commentary on Wikipedia and also by Karen Armstrong and I was not impressed. Couldn't find gow did he get the name 'Allah' while angel Gabriel first mentioned int Christian Gospels announcing birth of a Savior.
"We have also seen that Muhammad’s life contained periods of either significant delusion or blatant spiritual oppression. It is this dimension of Muhammad’s life that should indeed be noted as we develop the greater theme of this book. Also, when attempting to discern the primary spiritual source of Islam, it is essential to not only see the dark nature of the initial seed from which Islam sprouted but even moreso its ultimate vision of the future - its fully mature “fruit. The demonic and anti-biblical revelations that began in the Cave of Hira find their culmination with the killing of every Jew, Christian and non-Muslim in the world."
