Even if Jesus is mediator between God and man..

Post by Elijah John »

If Jesus is mediator between God and man, should the mediator be worshiped? Should he be Divinized?

Is this what Jesus intended, his own glorification?
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

I am reporting the claims the Bible makes. Are you claiming that it is incorrect?
Great so when Jesus performed miracles as the Bible reported then you believe that is what the Bible says. Do you believe men can perform miracles?

How does this address my reply? I answered your question, why didn't you answer mine?

I'm a Christian. Of course I support the claims in the Bible.

Then you must agree with 1 Timothy 2:5 which Elijah John has already referenced in post number 12. If you disagree with that, then I repeat that your argument is with the Bible, not me.

Mediator simply means that if you want to meet God then you need to come through Jesus. It doesn't answer the question of how Jesus will broker peace between you and God.

You continue to argue with the Bible. This doesn't address why you think the Bible is wrong.

My understanding of the word mediator is totally irrelevant to the claims the Bible makes. Why do you continue to disagree with it?

Clearly your understanding of the word disagree is not mine. Think on that.

I don't feel you are debating this topic.

There is nothing to think about until you explain why you disagree with 1 Timothy 2:5.

I am.
