That doesn't seem to be the case with some of you (some believe it to be a temporary punishment, or not at all, etc). So I ask:
Do you believe in eternal hell (or eternal damnation if you like) or not?
If you do, who goes there?
Are there exceptions (mentally challenged people, newborn babies for examples)?
If you don't believe, why not?
What brings you to that conclusion?

I don't believe the government 'creates' these theories as much as people do, just like I'm not sure God creates them as much as his followers may. But that's JMO, nothing that can be pointed to as proof.
Basically, I don't know of any religious conspiracy theories r(ight off), though I seem to remember hearing about them in the past. Obviously they weren't of interest to me or I would have remembered them.
Being as the government and religion are so much alike (leaders appointed/voted upon, people in power controlling lives of others, influence, money, greed, et al) I suspect any conspiracy theories would be similar as well. But I'm not a religious conspiracy theorist.
What I said wasn't up for debate. I've provided everything yet you continued to seem to want to argue about it. I simply called it like I saw it with zero need to debate that. Is it not possible to have a conversation without debating? I would like to think so.What you think about what you think I am doing is not a relevant form of debate.
Because I would like you to give us some example[s] of the difference between government created CT and religious created CT [re "theories in question".] that we might better understand your argument.

What you think about what you think I am doing is not a relevant form of debate.
Of course it is. There a many sections where this can be done. However this particular forum - Theology, Doctrine, and Dogma -is for the purpose of debate. What I said wasn't up for debate. I've provided everything yet you continued to seem to want to argue about it. I simply called it like I saw it with zero need to debate that. Is Christianity the main source of Conspiracy Theories and therefore responsible for the troubled minds of Conspiracy Theorists?
Well I suppose we can thank you for popping in to say so.I'm not a religious conspiracy theorist.

That sentence I said was a comment. Not every utterance here is debatable. If you want to debate that specific comment, you're out of luckOf course it is.
I don't believe so. Do you have evidence that supports Christianity being the main source for conspiracy theories? Is Christianity the main source of Conspiracy Theories and therefore responsible for the troubled minds of Conspiracy Theorists?
The pleasure was yours.Well I suppose we can thank you for popping in to say so.

Post #16The "conspiracy theory" of the socialist left, the progressives, the godless in mind, body and spirit, has been the Russian hoax, which cost the American people around $40 million dollars to debunk. Their Hunter Biden laptop Russian hoax was put in place to rig an election, and was because of the pure hatred for orange man and his deplorable supporters. It is the left who are out there howling at the moon, and of course, you will find the religious among these moon howlers, but their indoctrination is the same fake news and Churches which closely follow the false prophet Paul. "Christianity" is simply another group of people who have been deceived by their leaders and media, but have some hope. The godless Marxist/socialist, have little hope, and less time. The government god is on the brink of collapse, and the progressive sleepy Joe will try and make sure the down turn is quick and swift. And yes, the minds of the left are indeed troubled and filled with hate, but apart from the god on earth socialist pope, the old time "Christians", before 1960s, have kept to the 10 commandments that they were taught to the best of their understanding, whether that understanding was correct or not.William wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 1:19 pmIs Christianity the main source of Conspiracy Theories and therefore responsible for the troubled minds of Conspiracy Theorists?2ndpillar2 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 11:30 amThe devil is spirit, who resides in the hearts of men by means of his demons, and their spirits are eternal. Post #18It was not a conspiracy story that Twitter and Face Book, as well as the media blocked the Hunter Biden Laptop Story out of the New York Post, and blamed the story on Russia, while at the same time Hunter Biden and the Biden family was under federal investigation for business with the Chinese. Facts may be conspiracy to you, but only is that accurate in the world of George Orwell.William wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 12:47 pmYour post is simply another example of conspiracy theory. Post #19Yes it is.
A conspiracy theory accuses another, as if that other were the devil. This you have done, have you not?

Post #20The "truth" is not a conspiracy. Truth can be found in the testimony of Yeshua. Yeshua explains the role of the devil, the father of lies, and his demons. A conspiracy is generally built around things which cannot be proven, but today the term is applied to anything the leftist media cannot abide, truth be damned.
