Q: Given the information available, how can anyone claim that Jesus was ever really a human being, other than the form he occupied appeared to those who saw it, to be human?
Some bullet points re that information available.
° He was not the off-spring of two human parents.
° He remembered a prior existence and spoke about it to his followers, often.
° He was able to do things which appeared to be magic, but were actually miracles, because they were not the product of human invention [underhanded trickery] but rather the product of some type of channeling. [overhanded [divine] trickery]
The above examples are enough to get the ball rolling...

Re: Did He Ever Really Have a Human Experience - re "Biblical Jesus"
Post #71So you are arguing that Adam did not have a genuine human experience because he was not conceived and born in the usual fashion
WAS ADAM REALLY HUMAN?
GENESIS 2:7
Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

I am not arguing biblical Adam was involved with mysticism, or retained his memories of a prior existence, which is what I AM arguing re biblical Jesus.
Please. If all you have is more straw - it is useless re honest debating.
Can I get an "Amen!"?
Not sure how often one can point folk to the thread subject re "what I am arguing" before it breaks the camels back -So you are arguing that Adam did not have a genuine human experience because he was not conceived and born in the usual fashion

Only the experience of sinning was unknown to Him.

But in order for that to have been the case, we would have had to relinquish the Genuine Human Experience our Human forms were created for in order to allow the genuine experience to happen. By keeping our memories of prior our existence and being able to make things appear out of nowhere and raising our dead etc...we cannot know what it is like to be truly Human.
Perhaps that is one of the reasons why Christians want to believe that biblical Jesus was ''human in every way" so they can ignore his clearly saying otherwise.
Hebrews is someone telling us what they believed biblical Jesus was. Biblical Jesus tells it another way.
Since we are Human, we can choose whichever version that suits us.

Post #75No, Hebrews was inspired by God.
What is this "biblical Jesus" you refer to?
Is that one of your inspirations?
There is only one known "version":
Jesus experienced human life.Hebrews 4:15 AMP wrote:

Biblical Jesus makes it clear that his inspiration came from who he called his Father.
The author of Hebrews was not inspired by the same, if what he says contradicts what biblical Jesus is said to have claimed.
Therefore, even that the author of Hebrews might claim to be inspired by a god, [or you have simply made that up] the better horse to back is he who spoke for himself rather than he who speaks for another.
As the OP and subsequent posts point out [and Christians continue to ignore] the life Jesus had was not a genuine human experience.Jesus experienced human life.

Re: Did He Ever Really Have a Human Experience - re "Biblical Jesus"
Post #78The points in the OP have been thoroughly debunked. Stating something in an opening post doesnt make it true. The OP suggest that having a "genuine human experience" (conveniently left undefinded)

The OP points out what biblical Jesus claimed about himself which shows clearly that Jesus - by his own words, never claimed to be a human like the rest of us. The OP clearly gives those points of difference, so please address those points.
