The Nicest Faith Ever?
Post #1As far as faith goes, I conceived the Nicest Faith Ever! It's very simple and very potent: I have faith that all living and non-living things go to heaven. By my faith all are saved! All are prisoners of causality therefore all deserve heaven. Faith soars off on the wings of hope where evidence comes to a dead end. This is not a new religion because no other believers are needed and there is no need for followers or prayers or praises or donations or worships or temples, etc. YOU ARE SAVED! ALL ARE SAVED! What do you think?

Some search for truth, other conceive faiths. If we had more of the first, and less of the later, there'd be less religious chaos in the world.
I bet we can make up something nicer to this, by adding a little something from aroma therapy, saunas, laser shows and some nice music to it all. Problem is, it might not work.

Unless one is omnipotent, it is impossible to be omniscient and I am neither omnipotent, nor omniscient. I am a strong agnostic regarding the existence and nature of God or Gods, as well as regarding the ultimate nature of reality. I am omnibenevolent as I don't want any sentient beings to suffer and would like all to be eternally and infinitely happy. Given that only faith and hope can achieve such an omnibenevolent goal, I have such faith and such hope because I have such love for all. Given that all are already saved by my faith that they are saved by my faith, there is no need to have materialistic frills of aromatherapy, saunas, laser shows and music. This is not a new religion. No followers are required. The task of saving everyone is already completed by faith. All that is left to do is first live and help live, then die and help live.BirdofPrey wrote:Some search for truth, other conceive faiths.
