The horsemen
Post #1Does anyone know why “pestilence is widely thought of as one of the four horseman from Revelations? The sixth chapter of revelations talks about Conquest, War, Famine and Death. Where did pestilence come from?

And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
(Revelation 6:8 ESV)
Pestilence isn't the name of one of the four horsemen but it is often associated with death.
