Isnt it because they value life higher or as more sacred than non vegans? What is behind the definition you gave?

I just use the simple defintion. However, according to The Vegan Society it is "A philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals."[

So is it a commitment to animals or to life?

I guess you would have to ask them. Like anything else, I am sure that they each have there own justifications. personally, I don't find any of them convincing.

This thread is indeed that opportunity to ask.

This thread is indeed that opportunity to ask.
Given that you've already limited the answers to this:

So i would presume they are all anti abortion or hypocrites or there is a fulfilling 3rd possibility?
You aren't actually asking a question at all. You are looking for a group to condemn, not a group to ask a question of.

You've already decided what the answer is and are simply fishing for others to agree with your accusations. Thankfully, no one has fallen into your trap.

Thank goodness you're here to help.

There may be many possible answers, this thread will sit and wait for a chance encounter with a vegan.

This former vegan was always anti-abortion, even when I was going through that phase.
I don't think you can generalize a person's eating habits to their views regarding human life in the womb.
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Thankfully a vegan, or at least a former one, has expressed their opinion. I hope you'll take note of how closely it matches mine.

Glad to have been here to help.

I know we all hate being generalised, but I wonder what the statistics say on average.

I think we can learn a lot about a person from their eating habits.

Why are you a former vegan?

Indeed.

We can learn what they like on their pizza.

We can learn if they put ketchup on their scrambled eggs.

We can even learn if they eat ice-cream on their pie.
