Orthodox Easter

Post by ThatGirlAgain »

This Sunday is Easter Sunday for those Eastern Rite (Orthodox) Catholic churches that still use the Julian calendar instead of the (Pope issued) Gregorian calendar. This Sunday will be April 15 in the Gregorian calendar but April 2 in the Julian calendar.

Most Orthodox Catholics here in the US are Greek Orthodox. So here is how they celebrate Easter in Greece.
