That gave me a kick. Sometimes the truth is funny.

I will never understand how someone who claims to know the ultimate truth, of God, believes they deserve respect, when they cannot distinguish it from a fairy-tale.
You know, science and logic are hard: Religion and fairy tales might be more your speed.
To continue to argue for the Hebrew invention of God is actually an insult to the very concept of a God. - Divine Insight

Best placed use of the word “diapers “ in the history of the word diaper. I nearly needed one myself!
Funny AND well said.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Yes, I am fighting at a disadvantage here. Do I really care if a half-man half-fairy is Jewish or not?
Only enough to point out inconsistencies.

And a suspenseful hush falls over the DCR community...
What will the reply be?
A meaningful answer?
Links to non-germane topics?
Answering your question, with other questions, that when answered will not be satisfactory?

To be clear: Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods.

I must assume that knowing is better than not knowing, venturing than not venturing; and that magic and illusion, however rich, however alluring, ultimately weaken the human spirit.
