I have been absent from these debates for over a year – attending to other matters of civic importance. It is good to be back.
In twelve years debating here (minus two periods of ‘sabbatical’), my objective is NOT to convince or convert those who defend opposing positions; even while addressing their comments.
Instead, my comments are intended for consideration by those who view these threads (a dozen of which have over 100,000 views; and many have over ten thousand views), trusting that many of those viewers have the ability to 1) distinguish between evidence vs. opinion or fantasy; 2) weigh evidence presented; 3) distrust claims and stories that cannot be shown to be true and accurate; 4) form reasoned conclusions based upon verifiable evidence.
