How long's that contact button been there neath our names?
I noticed it just now, and I'd comment about being a curious me, but I'll have to hold of on that til I find out how long it's been there.
But anyway, if ya click it, it'll carry that post into a private message, and I'm here to tell it, that's the surest sign of magic there ever was. I mean, it won't make a mule dance the merengue, but it's magic all the same.
I used to'd copy and paste the proper link, then copy and paste the conversation, fussing who saids to what's said, then tell what I had to tell.
And here it is, one button to rule em all!
Someone please lie to me and say it just got put in today
otseng, if ya read this, and using this handy dandy contact feature, please let me know if ya weigh the same as a duck.
Does otseng weigh the same as a duck?

Post #9If I ain't just excuse making, I've never been good at making puns. I think my mind works too literally.
I remember being in school that time there, and Teach asked if I understood the notion, "Reading between the lines?"
"Sure I do", I replied with confidence, "they mighta writ em something real little there."
"Why don't we count our chickens before they hatch? "
"Might break an egg."
My stupidity's only exceeded by my dooficity
I might be Teddy Roosevelt, but I ain't.

Post #10I don't do puns without another joke as the meat; puns are more of a finishing sauce.
As an example, someone on another forum posted Trumpgret in the Word of the Day thread, with the following definition:
Regret or remorse for having voted for Donal Trump.
So I said:
"Oh dear. I've been using this word wrong..."
And I posted this.
This is a good example of a fowl joke that nonetheless doesn't have that unpleasant fishy aftertaste.
