This guy might get us out of the Russian/Ukraine Conflict... An example of NON-partisanship

As many of you may be aware, there are reports of hundreds of civilians trapped in Mariupol Ukraine, steel plant areas. Ukrainian officials were supposed to be negotiating with Russian officials to evacuate these civilians but attempts have failed. What I've observed from reports of these dealings is a lot of bravado, with president Zelensky promising the people there would fight to the death, while Russia is wanting to claim Mariupol as a complete victory for their side. None of this helps the situation.

Then comes in a short guy by the name of António Guterres, UN Secretary general, with a NON-partisan style is able to broker a deal.
Secretary-General António Guterres travelled to Moscow and met President Vladimir Putin early last week, securing an agreement from the Russian premier “in principle” to allow this weekend’s lifesaving operation to take place, after weeks of failed attempts to provide a safe humanitarian corridor for a mass evacuation.

After meeting Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the capital Kyiv on Thursday, the urgent imperative of ending what Mr. Guterres called the “crisis within a crisis” of finally allowing civilians to leave the shattered coastal city after weeks of Russian bombardment, was the subject of “intense discussions” between the two parties.

. Listen to this clip of him describing the Ukrainian and Russian conflict. Observe the non-partisan terms/behavior:

"Independent investigations", goes over the positions of BOTH sides, he's not mud slinging. All examples of what is LACKING in polarized/partisan American politics, the American politics that tend to involve people ignoring and/or distorting the other side, as if the whole world revolves around Twitter and popularity as a way to solve problems.

And his success thus far on getting Mariupol civilians out...

Please let this be a lesson to the increasingly failed system of American politics, where POLARIZATION and partisanship and Twitter style antics currently reign.
