Head-to-head subforum request

Post by otseng »

If you would like to debate in a head-to-head debate, find an opponent and agree on a topic. Then both of you must post here with the topic title you two have agreed on and then send me a PM with the link to your request. You two should also agree beforehand the format of the debate. I'll then give you both membership to the usergroup. You are then free to create the topic and debate.

After the debate is over, PM me and I'll lock the thread and remove you from the usergroup.

Hi. Myself and For_The_Kingdom have agreed to debate the following question

The Modal Ontological Argument: Is it a logically sound/valid Argument for the Existence of God?

We have agreed not to have a finite number of responses. We're to go on until one of us either admits defeat or just plain calls it quits.
FtK will be going first. FtK I expect will be arguing in the positive, while I will of course be arguing in the negative.

For the Kingdom and I want to debate the MOA (modal ontological argument).

He'll say it's valid and sound, that it proves something, and I'll take a contrary position.
