What is special about Jesus?

Post by Wootah »

If we can agree that bulls and lambs are insufficient propitiations for our sins then what makes Jesus a sufficient propitiation?

Especially if you think Jesus is a created being then what makes one created being sufficient and another insufficient?

If he is a human then how did he pull it off to not sin for 33 years? Was Jesus created perfect?
Proverbs 18:17 The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

For someone to be truly ‘famous’, we generally know a lot about their life.

What do we know of Jesus between the ages of say, twelve to twenty nine?

Not much. In fact, since that’s around fifty percent of his whole life (generously assuming his crucifixion was at thirty three), we should probably admit it:

We don’t accurately know the half-life of Jesus.

Not to disagree, but it's broader than that.

What do we know of Jesus between age one or so and age twelve?

We don't know accurately +/- 90% of Jesus' life and that assumes that what is recorded is accurate.

Forgive me but I can't see whatever point it is you are trying to make.
Seeing that is too much of a stretch for you I will have to wait till
you increase in understanding so as to carry on this conversation with you.
This amounts to nothing more than an admission on your part that you can't support your claim. We see this quite often, posters who can't support their claims and blame others for their failure.

Tcg
So where is your support for this claim you are making here to us?
Please post it for us.

Please can you support your claim that brunumb should support the claim that you can’t support your claim that he doesn’t know what point you’re trying to make is?

That would clear things up nicely, and then we can move on.

That's quite a double standard you've concocted. One that still doesn't support your claim.
