Are the stars falling from heaven?

Is the pope, the supposed holder of the keys of David, on his way of being like a peg driven into a wall giving way, and all who hang onto him, being cut off? (Isaiah 22:15-25) The cardinal who represents the Vatican in the US gave an interview whereas he told how the pope has promoted pedophile cardinals among the pedophile mafia of the Vatican , after the pope had vowed to have zero tolerance for pedophiles. He spoke of the pedophile Vatican mafia's ties with Biden, Clinton, the Democrat party etc. Apparently US cardinals are asking for the pope to resign. I think the pope will "fall", but I don't see him resigning. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +to+resign

The cardinal is of the age he is expecting to die soon. His reasoning for the expose was to get what he knew off his chest.
So now, because he's dying, he's feeling guilty and needs it known. But, when he was younger and healthier, it wasn't bad?
I'm suspect of anyone that, at the end of their life, needs to 'tell all the bad things' about another. Where was his bravery before?
He had followed procedures for years, and nothing had came of it with respect to exposing the pedophiles.
Then he's in the wrong then, for following procedures when he knew it was wrong.
Plus, if they kill him, it is a little late, as he published what he knew.
He could have published what he knew then. If they killed him then, at least he was brave enough to do the right thing.

This is nothing more than an old, dying man, feeling guilty now that he's close to meeting his creator (in his view) and is trying to make amends for HIS OWN sake, disregarding all those he claims were mistreated.

He strikes me as a coward.

This is NOT to say there's no general issue that needs addressed.
The cardinal was not in charge of the global cardinal representatives in his youth. He has been fighting the handling of the pedophile cardinal since the former pope condemned the pedophile. Now that he is dying, he can no longer carry on the fight using church channels, and has appealed to the US cardinals, who apparently support him. Most pedophiles would choose to live their lives out of the spot light. Once light is shown on them, they will have to find cover. The pedophiles cover, the pope and the Vatican pedophile cabal, now has to be careful on how they react. They don't want to expose their own perversions. Their control of the media is strong, but it is not universal, therefore they may or may not be held accountable. If the sheep get informed, then the "fat" shepherds may wind up facing judgment (Ezekiel 34:1-16).

I don't doubt this issue is happening, as has been for some time. The issue I have is now, that he's dying, he has enough 'courage' to speak out?
Did he do this years ago when he first heard of it?
If he has, where did he take this news?
Why didn't he remove himself from is lofty position as a means of protest?
What 'fight' was he doing within Vatican walls?

Maybe he was and it never made its way from his mouth to the public. But surely, if he is so just in his fight, there are a plethora of media outlets pontificating about this lone, brave cardinal and his fight?
Have a great, potentially godless, day!

He had been speaking out within the Church community since the former pope retired 8 years ago. The former pope had judged and passed sentence on the pedophile, yet the current pope and his cabal of cardinals has undermined the restrictions placed on the pedophile. This is probably within the realm of god on earth, but the current popes statements were to the effect that he would have zero tolerance for pedophiles.
The Pope is considered the man on earth who takes the place of the Second Person of the omnipotent God of the Trinity." (John Paul II, Crossing the Threshold of Hope, p. 3, 1994). "The Pope is not simply the representative of Jesus Christ.

This may sound a bit off, but priest and cardinals and sheep often believe this stuff up to a point. Media is not the natural go to place. And you will not find this information on leftist media. Even conservative media have Catholics in their leadership who were brought up thinking the pope is Peter's heir, and that Peter is the "rock the church is built on", and buy onto this line of thought.

In his encyclical, "The Reunion of Christendom" (1885), Pope Leo XIII stated that the pope holds "upon this earth the place of God Almighty." In the Catechism, can be found the following: "The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth...by divine right the pope has supreme and full power in faith and morals over each and every pastor and his flock.

Kind of hard to go against the guy who supposedly holds the place of "God Almighty".

IF this dying guy did sound the alarm, that's honorable, but at the same time, he kept serving in his role, which, to me, negates almost, if not all, of any honor he had.
Beyond all that, the fact that God continues to allow this to happen is way, way worse than anything this dying man did or didn't do IMO.

Evil is the counterpart to good. You have to have evil to produce the character required to fight evil. With out difficulties, you would have a whole nation of weak men and women, and no one, including God, would want to spend any time with them. By means of the past prosperity of the US by virtue of the character and hard work of US citizens, we now have a millennial culture of weak, socialist, characterless individuals. We are now heading to a war between the "armies" of the righteous, and the weak, the wicked and lawless (Revelation 19:14). Evil, as is darkness, is a critical part of the creation of this present world. Under a different earth and universe, which is coming up, evil will be done away with (Revelation 20:14). As for the "cardinal" being "deceived" by the beast with two horns like a lamb, the emperor Constantine and his Roman church (Revelation 13), that would include "those who dwell on the earth" (Revelation 13:14), including the daughters of Babylon, the Protestants. The deceptions from the false prophets would include the Muslims, etc. All will be judged based on their actions/character, for which evil is a component in the spiritual/physical battle. (Revelation 20:12)

None of your preaching changes the fact that God allows this to happen. He hasn't done much, if anything, to prevent it. Meanwhile, as he waits, people are dying and, by many Christian concepts, going to hell. While he waits for 'just the right time', you think, to intervene.
God playing games with the lives of those he says he loves.
Nope, ain't got time for that!
Have a great, potentially godless, day!

The US became prosperous by slaughtering indigenous people, stealing their land, and then enslaving others primarily those of African decent. This from what is often referred to as a Christian nation.

Peace to you,

In order for a star to fall from heaven, that star would have to first BE in heaven, right? How would that describe the Bishop of Rome (whom some call the 'pope')?
2ndpillar2 wrote: Tue Feb 16, 2021 12:33 pm Is the pope, the supposed holder of the keys of David,
Despite what some might claim, the Bishop of Rome is not the holder of the keys of David.

The holder of the key of David is Christ:

These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. Revelation 3:7
on his way of being like a peg driven into a wall giving way, and all who hang onto him, being cut off? (Isaiah 22:15-25)
I'm not sure what verse 25 is referring to, so I do not want to comment on that. But it cannot mean that Christ - the holder of the key of David - will be cut off (unless it is referring to Christ being cut off, from when He was crucified).

But the Bishop of Rome was never the holder of the key of David.

(the word pope comes from the latin papa, meaning father, and since learning that, I avoid calling the Bishop of Rome by that title. "And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven." The Bishop of Rome is not my father in any sense of the word.)

The cardinal who represents the Vatican in the US gave an interview whereas he told how the pope has promoted pedophile cardinals among the pedophile mafia of the Vatican , after the pope had vowed to have zero tolerance for pedophiles. He spoke of the pedophile Vatican mafia's ties with Biden, Clinton, the Democrat party etc. Apparently US cardinals are asking for the pope to resign. I think the pope will "fall", but I don't see him resigning. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... +to+resign
The Bishop of Rome might fall from his position in a religious organization, but no religious organization is from Christ, so I do not see how it could even be a metaphorical fall from heaven. Besides, someone else would just take his place, elected by the same college of cardinals (just a new name for the old roman state religion "college of pontiffs") that elected the current pontiff/Bishop of Rome.

If we belong to Christ, if we are His sheep, then we are to listen to HIS voice, come to Him, obey His commands, remain in HIS word.

Not to religion, not to religious leaders, not to men claiming to be 'fathers'. Just to Christ.

May anyone who wishes them be given ears to hear as the Spirit and the Bride say to you, "Come!" May anyone who wishes and anyone who thirsts, "Come! Take the free gift of the water of Life."

(which water is holy spirit, poured out from Christ, as His Father has given to Him without end)

In order for a star to fall from heaven, that star would have to first BE in heaven, right? How would that describe the Bishop of Rome (whom some call the 'pope')?

Despite what some might claim, the Bishop of Rome is not the holder of the keys of David.

The holder of the key of David is Christ:

As for the pope falling from heaven, that would refer to the "devil" and his angels being thrown out of heaven Revelation 12:7-12:
Revelation 12: 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they [a]did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Per Isaiah 22:22, "the Lord God of hosts" says (Is 22:15), that with respect to Eliakim, the stand in for the heir of Peter (Shebna), who was put in charge of the "royal household"/church, that "I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder "when he opens no one will shut".
and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven", the quote Yeshua applied to Peter/petros in Matthew 16:18-19. As the claimed heir of Peter, the pope claims to be god on earth, and the holder of the key of David, and who tried during the the term of office of Obama power, to obtain jurisdiction over the citadel of David in Jerusalem for which he claims to hold the key. The pope considers himself the father, teacher, and leader of the church, which you have said, is antithetical to the teachings of Yeshua. The kingdom of heaven in the physical sense is to be ruled by King David (Ezekiel 37:24).

The term Pontiff comes from the term Pontifex Maximus, the leaders of the pagan church, from which Julius Caesar, the fifth head of the beast of Revelation 17, took title and control, and the title was passed down through the Augustus Caesars to Constantine the Great king of Rome, the establisher of the Roman church at his convened council of Nicaea in 325, held at his summer palace, and thereafter a title claimed by the future popes.

As for the "sheep", they will not be fed, or healed, and their "fat" shepherds will be held accountable, and destroyed (Ezekiel 34:1-16). As for Peter, Yeshua quoted Zechariah 13:7 in Matthew 26:31, "strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered".. The sheep remain scattered and unhealed, and unfed. Their fodder remains to be mostly the leaven of the Pharisees of Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

As for partaking of the water of life, that road was laid out in Matthew 3, whereas one must first repent, confess their sins/lawlessness, such as holding on to the false gospel of grace, and produce good fruit in line with their repentance.

As for religious organizations, the false prophet Paul set up an institution of prophets, teachers, apostles, etc. (Ephesians 4:11)

As for Yeshua saying come to me to drink, the obvious place people go to drink is the NT, which was edited and canonized by the Roman bishop of Alexandria in 367 AD, and contained around 67% the rants of the false prophet Paul and his associates. According to Paul, the Law was nailed to the cross, and Yeshua represented the Law and the prophets, and as we still have this earth and heavens, according to Yeshua, not one stroke will be annulled (Matthew 5:17-18). If you believe otherwise, then possibly you are not drinking at the right faucet.

Anyone found with the mark of the beast/Constantine, will apparently be drinking from the cup of the wrath of God (Revelation 14:10). You might want to review the source of your beliefs especially as we appear to the at the end of the age when the angels will come "first" to gather up the tares, the lawless ones, born from the lies of the devil (Matthew 13:30-50), and cast them into the furnace of fire. I would image that Biden is now assembling the nations, such as Iran and China, to come against Jerusalem, which will end badly for everyone (Matthew 24:22) (Zechariah 14).
