Are evangelicals more power hungry than the 'typical' christian?

Are evangelicals more apt to try to have power over others than other christian sects?
If not, why not?
If so, what's their end goal? Or is there not one - is it simply more of a 'power thing' than anything else?

Or are they just as power hungry as any other.... group (because some get offended over using the C word even though, per definition, it is correct)?

Classic example of an oxymoron. Often used to equate atheism with theism, but it essentially makes the claim that atheism is really just as ridiculous as theism. Yeah, right. As if atheists believe in talking snakes and donkeys or dead corpses coming back to life after a few days, just for starters.
Not exactly correct. The no god Marxism/communism, actually has a man for their god, it is just that that god is Marx, and their religion is Marxism, and their goal is heaven on earth, whereas the reality is hell on earth, such as Mao's China, Stalin's Russia, the U.S house of Representatives, and today's Venezuela.
The no god Marxism/communism has a god? Good grief. :?
It's obvious why at least I can't take any of your conspiracy theories and religious rants seriously.

I'm sorry bout any confusion. I meant it in terms of lacking knowledge of my tv viewing habits.

The communist/Marxist/national socialist have their own stand in gods (Revelation 13:4); Mao, Marx, Stalin, Kim Jong Un, Hitler, AOC, etc... Biden was the god of the Progressives until he started having public episodes, and losing control in public, making huge blunders, and now his followers have been reduced to 38% of the population. They could always adopt Harris, except her following has fallen to 28%. I guess the next best bet is Mayor Peter. Good luck with that. The "evangelicals" are the least of your problems at the moment, although tomorrow, that might change due to the pure incompetence of the current progressive administration.

The 3 stooges of CNN; Lemon, Cuomo, Stelter, are rebroadcast on most news outlets, mostly as comic relief, and are all failing along with their faithful religious Progressives supporters and their news network.
Yet another reason I prefer to gather my news from a broad array of different sources.
Gutfeld, reached the highest rated broadcast, on August 30st 2021, and did a comic relief on who was the dumbest, Lemon or Cuomo.
That's just an argument from popularity and says nothing about the reliability of any data Gutfeld presents.
Both funny and serious for those who take CNN's progressive message seriously.
Meh. Nothing you've said about CNN offers anything but your opinion. I prefer to argue with facts and logic.

With that in mind, I can only conclude you have no real counter to any specific set of data CNN might present.
Those with a sense of humor, those who hold onto their guns, and bible, those called the deplorables, find the downfall of "fake news",
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"

You've yet to present a single example of "fake news" to consider against your accusation.
and those who preach lawlessness, comforting.
Lawlessness like fomenting an insurrection? Is that what you mean?
As they judged others, as in the case of big brother Cuomo, so shall they be judged.
I note Cuomo is a Christian.
When the fruit becomes fully rotten, then is the time for harvest (Matthew 13:41). It looks like the conservative "evangelicals" might bring some power back to the people, through a legitimate voting system, which has previously worked for a long time,
Yet so many Christians in Congress have worked to thwart voting rights legislation.
instead of being held by tyrannical leaders, who rule by a pen and phone, voted for by those in the graveyards of America, along with the likes of the imaginary Mickey Mouse and Pluto.
I note many Christians had no problem with Trump ruling by "pen and phone".

It never fails to amuse me when Christians speak of imaginary characters.

Fake news,
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"
CNN has lost around 46% of its viewership since 2018 due to their mostly exposed false reporting. CNN's viewer ship is also approaching the bottom realm of economic sustainability, except CNN is bank rolled by a rich propogandist, and can run on fumes.
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"
Yeah, the defeated progressive Georgia Governor candidate is having a hard time admitting that she actually lost her governship race, projecting her under handed methods onto her opponent.
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"
Hillary also projected her paid for Russia collusion onto Trump, and thinks since she used under handed tactics, that Trump must have done the same.
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"
I can see how you are concerned.
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"
To call non identity voting a right, is kind of Orwellian.

As for the Democrats storming Congress in 2018, I personally was not as concerned as you seem to be.
"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news!"

In conclusion, I agree with ya wholeheartedly, just hollering out "Fake news!" sure beats thinking.
I also don't watch TV news, which doesn't mean that I am not aware of what they preach.
If you don't watch them, then you're being dishonest here or taking the words of others that do watch them as fact. If you are 'aware' of that they preach.
I don't think you know how Gutfeld works. He simply shows videos of Cuomo and Lemon speaking, and then gives his commentary, kind of like a laugh track. My YouTube simply knows that I like comedy, and simply lines up Gutfeld as one of the comics that they set put on my algorithm. He has guest, but they all like a good laugh, not like many Progressives who seem to have just eaten a lemon.
So you form an opinion from someone else's opinion and selected scenes?
That's of course, fine, so long as that's understood.

I form an opinion about the narrators from the false narratives routinely spouted from Cuomo and Lemon, as archived by Gutfeld. As for the opinions of Gutfeld, he is a comedian, whose comedy comes from showing how things are. Comedy stops being funny when it strays from the truth, and starts pushing their own narrative, such as the case with SNL.

Doesn't sound different than watching CNN or the like. Except, maybe, how one wants to to contort reality to fit their needs, justifying it as humor or satire.

"Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! Fake news! To call non identity voting a right, is kind of Orwellian.

As for the Democrats storming Congress in 2018, I personally was not as concerned as you seem to be.

I am just glad that none of them were murdered by security.

So you form opinions from another's opinion supplied as an effort to further said person's narrative and ratings.
Doesn't sound different than watching CNN or the like. Except, maybe, how one wants to to contort reality to fit their needs, justifying it as humor or satire.
I always find that interesting about humans, though it's still never stopped owners of glass houses from throwing stones.
And who designed your house, and how do you keep it from overheating in the summer?

I don't watch TV news, preferring to find reputable and reliable sources online that aren't beholden to giant corporations.

Your ignorance is showing.

CNN has lost around 46% of its viewership since 2018 due to their mostly exposed false reporting. CNN's viewer ship is also approaching the bottom realm of economic sustainability, except CNN is bank rolled by a rich propogandist, and can run on fumes.

Yeah, the defeated progressive Georgia Governor candidate is having a hard time admitting that she actually lost her governship race, projecting her under handed methods onto her opponent.

Hillary also projected her paid for Russia collusion onto Trump, and thinks since she used under handed tactics, that Trump must have done the same.

Some guy. Probably not on here looking down on others do doing the same thing he's doing, though.
But maybe he is.... maybe he is..... :?:
Have a great, potentially godless, day!
