Please offer some means to confirm God is trying to show us anything.

I think that is a good question. I don't believe God tries anything, he either does, or does not, but there is no trying. :D

My initial, split-second, reaction was you was being all dodgy, but I see what ya mean.

Now then, can ya show does anything?

But ya definitely win this initial round, based solely on the Yoda reference

Well, he did try to rid the world of evil and wickedness by drowning it of virtually all life, but failed miserably.

Thanks! :) For me, this world and the Bible are evidence that God does things. I don't think we would have the Bible, or anything at all, without God. But, I think this remains a matter of belief.

By what the Bible tells, he wanted to get rid of the evil people that lived at that time. By what I know, they are all dead, so God was successful.

Of course you think he was successful because all god wanted to do was to replace one bunch of sinners with another bunch of sinners.

In obvious disagreement on the particulars, I respect how you speak the truth best ya can tell.

I don't think I ever see you trying to 'explain away' stuff, but that you just tell it, and there we go. Wrong or right, I can always rely on you to speak your truth.

It's all about what one wants in their life. If they want to believe god shows this or that, does this or that, or whatever, they justify it.
Those that don't want to believe, justify that, as well.
Looking around, I can see things I could attribute to god 'doing' or 'showing' just as much as god not 'doing' or 'showing'.
What I can show or not likely won't matter much, or at all, to those that believe the opposite.
Likewise, if someone says 'See? God saved me from cancer!' that doesn't mean, to me, god did or didn't do anything. Or even exist.
We all believe in what we WANT to believe.
Have a great, potentially godless, day!
