Would those who don't accept the existence of bigfoot be fearful when they see this photo:
In the same manner, would those who don't accept the existence of the God of the Bible be fearful when they read the Bible?

The fear of Bigfoot - the fear of God.
Post #1To be clear: Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods.

I must assume that knowing is better than not knowing, venturing than not venturing; and that magic and illusion, however rich, however alluring, ultimately weaken the human spirit.

Post #2Those under the age of seven or eight perhaps.
Maybe some under 25, the age at which the mind is said to stop developing. Of course, even supposedly normal people still accept incredible silliness, such as a flat Earth and astrology. In the same manner, would those who don't accept the existence of the God of the Bible be fearful when they read the Bible?

Post #3It'd be a lot easier to get a picture of BF or DM or any other cryptid than the mythical christian god.
Unless, of course, one thinks the christian god is nothing more than an alien. That might change things some.

Post #5It's a long story, but I once saw two white ducks take flight during one of my nighttime hikes. I thought they were angels. It turns out they were two white ducks.Difflugia wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 7:28 pmI had a picture once that I thought was God.
