Why isn't everyone a Christian?

Post by chrispalasz »

Post your personal individual perspectives on the following questions:

Christians:

1. Why do you think non-Christians do not believe that Jesus Christ is God and that the Bible holds the Truth about humanity?

2. Why isn't everyone a Christian?

3. Why do you think THEY think they don't believe?

Non-Christians:

1. How do you think a Christian would answer questions 1 and 2 above?

jimspeiser: Yes you can. Just click the "edit" button in the upper right corner of your post and delete it. Type in something random like "erased" or "moved" and provide a link.

Tigerlilly said earlier the laws of GOD are arbitrary. WEll let us look at the last six of the Ten Commandments.

Honor your parents. Seems good advice for society and continuation of the species.

Do not murder. I like that one since I do not want people killing me.

Do not commit adultery. Would save lives and marriages.

Do not steal. Seems like a good rule if we have stuff.

Do not bear false witness. Or do not lie and especailly lie to get someone into trouble.

Do not covet what belongs to your neighbor. If you are statisfied with your stuff you do not want to steal what your neighbor has.

God also gave rules like wash your hands before eating, do not use the river as a restroom but bury your waste in the ground, and do not eat scavenger animals. Do you want to eat a cat?
