When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?
If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.
We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

How have God and Christ been doing it up to now? They've been in heaven, haven't they? How have they been relating to humans all these many centuries?

I was responding to your claim here:
the truth is there is nothing in the bible that says the sheep of Matthew 25 cannot be CHRISTIANS themselves, and many indications that they are.
Post 1411:
.In addition to everything already shared, the story itself indicates that the sheep are not Christian. Because the sheep have to ask Christ 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you..." {snip*} .... - tam
* So, cutting out your attempt to introduce discussion your personal interprtation of a Watchtower article, your view of the text is based on the response of the sheep? Is that correct?

This is not an answer to the question.
Some people have different beliefs on how God and Christ have been relating to humans all these centuries.
Besides, my question was asking about the 144 000.
Peace again to you.

Yes, the Apostles were to tell those to whom they preached all of what it means to be an anointed Christian. But when the number of 144,000 was nearly filled, Christians who did not have the spirit bearing witness with their spirit that they were anointed did not relate to the idea of going to heaven. They simply do not want to go. They were not called to go. The 144,000 have been chosen. The rest of us look forward to life on Earth.

They do so by means of God's Holy spirit. With that they will be able to assist Christ in governing the people of the earth, from heaven.

HOW WILL JESUS AND HIS 144,000 CO-RULERS RULE OVER THE EARTH WITHOUT PHYSICALLY BEING ON IT?
Rulers do not physically have to be at a location to administer rulership over it. For example at one time the British Empire, under Queen Victoria covered over much of the earth including counties as far afield as India and Australia; counties which the Monarch herslef never set foot in. Indeed before our modern day means of travel and communication most citizens never even saw their ruler. And even today we accept that Donald Trump can live in Washington but excercise his "rulership" (authority) over Ohio.
There is no reason any bible believer should think that Jesus and his "bride" will not be able to achieve what Queen Victoria did, namely exercise dominion over lands and peoples without physically being present. True believers don't need to know the "HOW" of everything detail of that which God has promised, to have faith in those promises.

That said, the bible doesn't explain exactly what phyical means and methods Jesus might employ to exercise Kingdom rule over yhe earth (scripture does indicate there will be some of earhthly administrators, possibly similar to civil servants today, and additions to sacred scrioture " new scrolls") but one things for sure, Jesus and his 144,000 co-rulers are definitely up to the task.
As long as there is a means of communicating and administering the rulers wishes and the subjects submit to that ones influence, then rulership is exercised. The 144,000 under their "Executive in Chief" JESUS have at their disposal the most powerful force in the universe to achieve their administrative goals, namely God's holy spirit. That is HOW they will achieve their objectives.

How are the 144,000 and Jesus going to rule from heaven?
Just the way Jehovah has done from the creation onward, and how Jesus was "with" his followers for the last 2,000 years. JW has given good answers to that, and I assumed that you would know that it would be with Jehovah's Holy Spirit---that's the way He gets everything accomplished that He wishes to be done.
Queen Victoria had her ways of sending messages to India and Hong Kong, etc. Jesus has his ways of getting messages to the earth from heaven.
