I think this is the right place for this thread. Not in a derogatory sense as might be expected. Well ... at least not from my perspective. I'm a musician and artist, so expression is important to me. This thread is my personal expression of each day's experience I've had posting on this forum. A song for that day that represents where I was at in a spiritual sense.

Every Grain Of Sand
Post #4Written by Bob Dylan with Mark Knopfler on guitar and producing this song is the most intelligent and hauntingly beautiful song I've ever heard. The original studio version isn't available on YouTube and I don't care for any of the live versions or covers except this one. What this one lacks in heartfelt humility and rustic purity that the Dylan and Knopfler collaboration possesses it makes up for in beauty and simplicity.

What God Wants
Post #5I bought Roger Waters' album Amused To Death when it came out in 1992. One year before I became a believer. Over the years it has remained my all time favorite album. I've been thinking a lot lately about the stark contrast between the one true God and the God of the people. Though Waters, an atheist, may not have intended to make a distinction, the album to this day resonates with me not only due to it's amazing concept, production and musicianship, but most of all how it points out the greed, hypocrisy, and violence of Christendom.
The entire album is included in the playlist below. I recommend listening to it in it's entirety, maybe open up a new window and continue surfing the forums while doing so? That's what I do.
