A reality experience.

We are unable to peek behind the curtain as the math only shows us that there is a behind the curtain.

The best we can do is study the nature of the universe to see what hints can be obtained which might give us clues as to what it is that created the universe.

But that is for another discussion as this thread is focused upon the particular question re Biblical happenings.

I have already agreed that ST is a valid way to interpret the Biblical stories if, by 'valid', you mean logically coherent.

Yes. It practically explains how a bush can appear to be in flames and yet not burn.

It also explains how a bush can be made to appear to have a voice.

A nice touch in that by YHWH doing so, it symbolizes a connect with nature, giving nature a 'voice'. YHWH gives nature a voice.

Nope, I'm guessing it's the internet filter we use for our family. I'm guessing all imgur images will be blocked.

Google "Moses and the burning bush"+"Images".

There are 2 types of images associated with the subject...one simply shows a man engaging with a burning bush while the other shows the same but adds the element of another man within the burning bush, supposedly representing YHVH.

Of the two images, which better represents the biblical story?

Based on the concepts I tie to the different images, I would say the one that adds the man because it directly brings the concept of 'personality' into the burning bush, which is the key element, I think, of the biblical story, that Moses is interacting with a personal being. Which do you think is more accurate?

To the story, the image without the addition of the man.

This is because, it reflects what the actual story conveys.

The element of personality is evident already, in the voice communicating and the beingness in this case is manifested as the bush burning.

This is a common thread throughout the OT writings where the YVHV personality interacts with human beings.
