Is challenging a good idea to convince the atheists?

This is not a good idea. The best idea is to ask him to explain a genuine miracle, which is a direct challenge to the atheist because miracle is the direct proof for the existence of unimaginable God.

Please provide a detailed account of a miracle, and we’ll have a look at it.

If the only possible explanation involves a supernatural being, then you’d go a long way to convince a few atheists. If an explanation such as ‘they were mistaken’, or ‘it was a rare coincidence’ is possible, however, then you might be setting yourself a sisyphean task…
