Recent threads on a couple of topics have challenged readers to disprove the claims therein (the claims were generally of a traditional Christian nature). The insinuation seems to have been that if those claims can't be disproven, they have to stand as proven.
At the same time, counter-arguments were offered which were themselves not disproven.
If someone is going to challenge others to disprove their claims in order to delegitimize them, they must in turn be prepared to disprove the claims of others for the same reason.
