Use of the "Banned" Symbol as an Avatar

Some members use the "Banned" symbol as an avatar.

This is at best confusing and misleading, at worst a deception.
Shem Yoshi is an example, in fact the symbol I've included in this post was taken from his most recent post.

I suggest that official symbols and notices from DCR be considered inappropriate for members use if they tend to be misleading.
