'There's no school like old school!; Zoroastrianism?

I borrowed this logo from a group ,I know, who restore vintage tractors. Why pursue such an endeavour? Many of these lovely people just love their tractors and regularly exhibit them with pride at charity fundraisers and rallies. Most of my friends, who do this ,work their restored vintage tractors regularly and develop their mechanical skills regarding the fundamentals of machinery maintenance, hence the logo.

Have a look at this, please! Zoroastrianism
Disassemble it, find holes, find rust, etc.
Go back to school on it,please!

This is the root of Messianic Judaism, and most of mystic Christianity.

Except its, cleaner, more informed, and more useful than either of the above in 2023, imho. Compare it to the more modern models, dismiss it with passion, whatever!

I will contend that this ,Zoroastrianism, is easier 'over the ground' than it's pimped up derivatives.

Thanks!

Perhaps you could explain why you think this.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

But, I think Zoroastrianism is interesting. Maybe Bible God started it when he "stirred up the spirit of Cyrus".

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of Yahweh by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, Yahweh stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has Yahweh, the God of heaven, given me; and he has charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, Yahweh his God be with him, and let him go up.

Why do I think this?

Let me put it as simply as is allowable,1213. By all means ,question me further on this.

Messianic Judaism became insular and contextualized the God/saviour concept that was within Zoroastrianism to be specifically about them and their tribulations. It was much more.

Then we have mystic Christianity which took all the 'catchy' pieces of the Zoroastrian narrative and glued them together with paganism to create a mystical monster God who fries people during an everlasting banquet in the style of Nero!

Thanks!

Let me put it even more succinctly, in an effort to stimulate good debate and consideration.

Thomas123 "If there was no Zoroastra, there would be no Isaiah, and without him there would be not much of 'anything'.

You can hold me to this as well.

" Without Zoroastrianism, there would probably be, no Biblical Moses either"

Let's inject some energy here. Expose me as an untuned gong!
Thanks!

I declare the root of Messianic Judaism, and most of Mystic Christianity.

I declare the origins of the Isaiah Prophecies, that underpin both.

I call into doubt the actual existence of a Jewish Moses!

Imagine the implications of all this!

I present all this in a serviceable OP metaphor.

And still nobody wants to work!

Do we even want to know these things?

What are we really debating Christianity for?

Is there any evidence for that?

Thomas123: Do you really want to see it?

If so,1213, engage with me and others in rediscovering Zoroastrianism.

Pick holes in it!
Call me out on it!

Thanks
