Why is Satan so pathetic?

If I was an evil supernatural immortal being, hell-bent on causing evil, I would be doing a lot more evil than Satan and his legions do. It would be hell out there on planet Earth, if I were Satan.

Is this alleged God putting limits on what this alleged Satan is allowed to do?

If so, then why does Satan obey God's limits?

So wait:

God gives us free will, a.k.a. he doesn't MAKE us believe in him, he can only offer warnings and try to point us in HIS direction.

Satan, also, can not effect our free will, he can only tempt us and try to point us in HIS direction.

So really, does God possess any more power to point people towards Christianity than satan to turn them away?

At the risk of going off topic here, why do Christians believe that God won't violate free will when the bible is full of instances where he does?

Indeed. We ourselves define the amount of license satan and demons have on us.
Indeed, Hitler does only operate within the framework allowed to him by God?

You mean God would have stopped Hitler doing anything really unpleasant?

A pity God doesn't know those certain prayers, or perhaps he doesn't like to interfere with Satan.
Not only God knows these prayers, He gave them to us via inspiration by The Holy Spirit. God doesn't interfere with satan because He doesn't interfere with our free will. Yet, He would not leave His faithful in jeopardy if we ask Him. And He clearly observes so that satan cannot make us do things, he can only tempt.
God doesn't interfere with Satan?

Then why is Satan not out causing Holocausts even as we speak. Why is your life not a living Hell thanks to Satan and his legion of minions?

Because Christians believe that their alleged God would never put angels with flaming swords to guard trees that their alleged God did not want Adam and Eve to eat from.

Why would this alleged God never have done that?

Because that would interfere with free will, and it is Christian dogma that their alleged God doesn't interfere with free will.

Of course, their alleged god doesn't do anything. Because he doesn't exist, he doesn't interfere with free will, and he passes by on the other side when disaster threatens humanity.

Correct to a degree. While in this world the playing field is equal. In fact satan has an advantage because sinning is fun, easy, profitable, pleasurable etc., while salvation is the hard work, discipline, courage. This is exactly the reason only minority will be saved.

Mt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

satan has purpose, to test people so God selects only worthy.

If you deserve direct Divine intervention which by definition can only benefit you, so much the better.

Nothing about what Hitler done is either unique or unheard of.

Peaceful and prosperous life avails no less temptation to sin than a war.

So your God punishes people for disobeying him?

Still.. if your God is morally perfect, you'd think he'd stop him from killing millions of people. Unless they deserved to die.

Why is Doctor Octopus so pathetic? He has to be to fit the storyline.

And:
Everytime a Comic book Supervillain finds out the secret identity of his hated arch enemy, he plays around with this widom instead of giving it to the media and so desrtoying his enemys life once and for all.

A supervillain just needs to be pathetic so that the series can go on.

Well, you've got a good point and maybe it's not as it seems. You've got a great argument that either Satan is very pathetic... or... he is not interested in doing what he is painted as being interested in doing.
