Luke 2:7 "..and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them."
Show me a Catholic child who hasn't been an Innkeeper in the Christmas Play. Why did Luke stick Jesus in a shed and then send kings from afar. It is a great story. What Scripture was he trying to fulfill. You stick in the Roman census and you have the reader wondering if some of it could possibly be true.
This is the highlight of the Bible for many people.
Look at the extrapolations. Amazing!
Why was Jesus born in a shed???
