Can someone tell me how the Father's active force (his breath) implanted the promised seed into Mary's womb?
How was the Father's breath (active force), be sent by Jesus? John 15:26
What rules in the English language allow "He" not to mean "He, but "it." An "It" is a lifeless thing, also "It" refers to an unknown sex. but my Bible tells me the Holy Spirit is masculine.
And why wouldn't the active force of the Father speak of himself? John 16:13.
What exactly was it that descended upon the Lord Jesus as a dove at his baptism? Did the Father's active force materialize in some way before it landed on him?

Post #2The Watchtower dictates it devotees to adhere to the following: Michael the archangel, through the agency of the Holy Ghost, became a fetus in Mary's womb. I noticed you're always taking a go at the JW's. Do you want to convert?

Post #3The rule is Greek. All nouns, including "lifeless things," have a gender. "Feast" (γάμος) is masculine. "Kingdom" (βασιλεία) is feminine.placebofactor wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 2:12 pmWhat rules in the English language allow "He" not to mean "He, but "it." "Spirit" (πνεῦμα) is neuter. Adjectives and verbs applying to it take neuter endings. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that you're referring to John 16:13-14, where he uses masculine pronouns to refer to the "Spirit of Truth" as "he." Assuming it was an intentional theological statement (which, for the record, I think it was), John wasn't consistent about it (1:32 uses a neuter ending on "descending" when the Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus, for example). Other authors also seem to disagree with John and are consistent in treating the Holy Spirit as neuter, even when using pronouns (Romans 8:16, for example).
Since John equates the Spirit of Truth in 14:17 with the Paraclete of 14:16, which is a masculine noun, he may be thinking of the Paraclete when he wrote 16:13-14 without intending to refer to the Spirit as masculine in fact.
My pronouns are he, him, and his.

Thank God, only two groups would believe all that nonsense: a foolish Galatian and a Jehovah's Witness.
