It's my belief as well as the belief of many others that Jesus only created this 'earth' and this earth only. It's possible that he didn't even create this entire solar system, but God the Father did. God allowed Jesus to 'design' this planet and this planet only. I'm convinced that when we look up and see the trillions of 'suns' many of them have or likely have had inhabited 'earths' - and likely with humans on them. Possibly some of them have humans larger than us. Possible and in my view, likely the same.
No doubt God is still in the creation business. When this 'earth' reaches its end, God will create more 'earths' and my guess is they likely all FELL and needed a Savior. That Savior would likely be another fully human being like our Jesus was.
In my view it's illogical to believe we are the only human creation among trillions of stars AND trillions of galaxies.

John 1:3 says of Jesus, “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”
Jesus created everything that has been created. So the only things that exist which Jesus did not create are uncreated things – that is, God.
No He did not. The Word created everything!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (Genesis 1:1-2)
Jesus is not the Word.
Jesus is the Word made flesh as a human.
The word "him" in John 1:3 refers to "God" not Jesus.
A human did not create the heavens and the earth. The WORD (God) did!
This post contradicts the basic meaning of the words in John 1. When the Word was made flesh, He did not cease to be the Word. He was the Word (God) who was also human.
When a woman gives birth, we might say that she “made her husband a father.” The man who sired the child does not cease to be the man he was before. He is still the same man, but he is also now a father.
An army general might make a soldier an officer. The promoted soldier does not cease to be who he/she was before. The person is now also an officer.
The first chapter of John says that the Word became flesh in Jesus. The plain meaning of that passage is that the Word (God) is still the Word, and he is also flesh (Jesus). Jesus is the Word.
Is there a reason within the text to ignore the plain meaning of this passage?

The Bible confirms that the Word made everything!
That being the case, the Word made flesh created nothing!!
Have a nice day.

Post #13This continues to ignore what the Bible says (see post 11). Why should we disregard the plain meaning of the text in the first chapter of John?myth-one.com wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 3:23 pmbjs1 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 11:07 am [Replying to snowbound in post #1]

The Book of John confirms that the Word or God created everything.
Jesus isn't mentioned, and did not exist until billions of years later.

Fuck you
Hey admin - ban me from this place. Keep the judge-mental assholes and get rid of the good posters. I just left a church I've been at for years because of an asshole pastor who said he could quote as many acts of terrorism within Christianity as I could in Islam. When he couldn't quote evn ONE he booted me!.
Christianity is full of diabolical assholes.

Re: What did Jesus create?
Post #16Is the book of John much more credible than Jesus, to whom salvation and eternal life reside alone? Don't you know that Jesus is the Almighty God who says to all, today, to wit:myth-one.com wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 7:56 pm [Replying to bjs1 in post #13]

"All of you who are listening, listen carefully! I am your Lord God. Who are you afraid of? I am the Almighty. Who are you intimidated by? Remember, when I am by your side, you have nothing to fear, nothing to worry about, because I will save you from any calamity if you trust in Me and regard Me as your salvation and eternal life. As your Lord, whom you alone will worship and none other, I am the one true God existing in heaven, earth, or the universe. I created all things, I gave you life. Where will you go? If not to Me, you have nowhere else to go."

The "Word" is God. The Word is immortal and has existed for all time.
The "Word made flesh" was Jesus. Jesus was a man and died in His thirties.
The Word existed through it all and exists eternally.
Jesus is not the Word. He was the Word made flesh.
One is God, the other was a man.

Post #19I can agree that it does not mean eternal.snowbound wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 1:45 am [Replying to 1213 in post #3]
Here's some info on the word 'firstborn'.
The word implies a beginning and being created and is used 117 times in the bible. Only 7 times in the NT.
Here are ALL the places FIRSTBORN is used. It never implies ETERNAL!...

Re: What did Jesus create?
Post #20We can consult what credentialed lexicographers defined "firstborn" in Col1:15, with Strong#G4416, in Greek "πρωτότοκος prōtotokos" Bible Lexicons defined it as means - prior in generation, pertaining to existing prior to something else, existing first, existing before.1213 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2026 12:18 amI can agree that it does not mean eternal.snowbound wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2026 1:45 am [Replying to 1213 in post #3]

Thus per two Bible Lexicons definition pertaining to Col 1:15 "firstborn", one definition is "existing first" not created first.
