Click the link to ABC News and watch the video. It's about 2 minutes long. Then decide.

This does more to prove how little we know about the human body and medicine than the reality of miracles.

What would make this a miracle is someone taking the credit for it and repeating the event a few more times.

If God wanted us to have any proof of miracles then He would put one in place that cannot be denied.

Remedial action seems so hopeless. An once of prevention equals a pound of cure.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

I can appreciate your position here. However, I think I would then be justified in asking IF we had what you requested would you then conclude it was a miracle? Or would it be more likely that you would look for other naturalistic solutions such halucinations, hoaxes, and such if your request was met.

No. If my request were met, whatever God chose as proof would be irrefutable and too strange to be anything else.

Unexplained doesn't add up to a miracle. Contrary to all experience and reason might. For instance, a body walking around with no head for weeks would be a miracle. A disturbing one. Someone living for an extended period, days or weeks, and functioning normally with a heart removed would be a miracle.
If all the ignorance in the world passed a second ago, what would you say? Who would you obey?

But your original request doesn't seem to be all that irrefutable is my point. We could find other weaker explanations even though a miracle might be the BEST explanation for the event. If we have already determined that a miracle can't happen there is no evidence that could convince us otherwise regardless of how strange or unexplainable it is. If it were really, really, strange and seemed irrefutable we could explore other options such as we've been hypnotized, etc. Do you see what I mean?

Yes those things sound like they would be a miracle. But if those things were to happen (or they were reported by a credible source or you personally witnessed them) would you believe it or find other explanations? If a miracle was the BEST explanation for something would you reject it?

II would be forced to admit fully that there is some force beyond the natural world, but I would not likely grant that it was related to any religious ideas, at least not immediately. I'd likely be left wondering and with an even more intense desire for truth.

I know what you are saying but cameras cannot be hypnotized. Picture a floating, immovable rock that speaks and call’s itself a miracle.
Now that would be irrefutable.

I would even settle for a talking snake.
