Hi guys,

I'm new to this place. I just wanted to know as to what is the purpose of creation of human beings as per Christian philosophy.

Thanks.

Human was not created though ... just incidental to be member of fauna and flora.
When human reached the instinct of governance ... had homogenized character against the behavior of wild animals. Rules were laid down and created god based on myth, dreams and visions as basis of projected authority.

Think of it this way, God the font of all creation and love, was 1 a single entity. 1 can not know itself until there is 2 to share the experience. God needed to create separate sentience in order to understand itself. Something can only be as great as the sum of its parts, by multiplying itself God became greater as its knowledge grew, and as we multiply ourselves we become greater by learning about ourselves. This is why God said "Go forth and multiply" in Genesis, because the more of us there were, the better we could understand ourselves and hopefully come to realize that we are here to give pure love just like God is. God's opposing force was the void, the font of all destruction and lies, and it constantly tries to manipulate us into destroying ourselves so there will be only the void left, this is why there is evil in the world. The people who have never learnt the value of giving true unselfish love are unhappy and empty inside, often these people are very materialistic/power hungry as they are trying in vain to fill the void in their hearts, they do not understand that only love for loves sake can replace the void without eventually being sucked away and give them in return true lasting happiness.

Creation is just a misnomer conceived by religious faiths to promulgates their dominance on humanity. It was slowly developed hand-in-hand with civilization from folklores to cults in scaring people for submission.

The fact is ... our existence were just incidental and learned to establish hypothesis, however for lack of substantive evidence, faith over-ruled ambiguities.

The Christian God appears to be a narcissistic egomaniac who requires vast hosts of sycophantic worshipers, to continually praise and adore him.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.
First Epistle to the Church of the Thessalonians
The truth will make you free.
Gospel of John

Yeah??? So you don't think that being a sycophantic worshiper that praises and adores a narcissistic egomaniac supreme being ain't fun? Have you tried it?
