In Debate posts, you can give an MPG Donation which causes a post to appear in Announcements. Or you can use the Donate link instead without any associated post in public. (All donations cause a PM.)
In a persons public profile you can click on MPG Donation. This puts a post in Announcements but with an invalid link to a nonexistent post. Plus you get an error message about the invalid link.
I do not know if this is easy or even possible but it seems to me that a persons profile ought to have MPG Donation without the fake link and also a non Announcement type Donate.

I think it makes more sense to not have a MPG link on the profile and just have a regular donation link instead. I've donated 25 tokens to you as a test.
