P4um - DebatingChristianity.com site viewer for Android

For all you Android users out there, I've created a free app to allow you to read the forum. Right now it's in beta mode, but it should be fairly functional. When time allows, I'm planning on adding the ability to post and access PMs.

You can get it at P4um.

If you install it, post here and let me know what you think.

Can we find an android user to test this and give us a review?

Kind of lame, might just be my tiny phone though (samsung galaxy mini). Tried it for a few minutes but it kept getting stuck on loading screens all the time, especially when I flip between horizontal/vertical. It's not really feasible anyway on the small screen, quote trees tend to end up

which is not particularly readable and takes forever to scroll through so I'll stick to the laptop. Maybe with a tablet or bigger phone it works better?

Thanks for testing it.

OK, I think I've fixed this problem.

I've changed the layout for quotes. Hopefully this will make it a bit more readable.

Could you give it a try once more?

A good excuse for me to buy the Kindle Fire... need to test my Android apps on larger screens. O:)

I can't download it at the moment, since my phone can't connect to my internet connection and I'm in a barely-functional Gentoo environment right now.

Out of curiosity, is the source available?

Not really. It's just by myself coding it. I haven't yet decided if I should commercial it or open source it.

Test post from a Nextbook8 Android device. Same results on the HTC Nexus One...

I notice quotes within posts are presented a bit oddly, sometimes seemingly missing altogether.

Speed is excellent, faster than stock browser, or dolphin browser.

I would recommend the ability to not save login info, owing to me being the paranoid sort.

Good work.

I don't see the quote above, nor any reference to it while in preview mode.

So, I can see the quotes once posted, but not in preview. I was looking for the box deal there and overlooked it.
