I am curious. I was asked by a fellow forum junky to PM him and explain what rules I thought he might be violating. The whole thing is in the above url.
I stated that he may be in violation and he asked me to tell which ones. Here is my concern:
16. Do not comment on any rule infractions made by others. Ignore any rule violations made by others and only respond by reporting it to the moderators.
I have been hit once for a violation, I would like to avoid another.
So can I PM and explain without breaking the rules?
Thanks for any input.

From what I hear otseng is alright in most of the library.Fides et Veritas wrote:Thank you, sir.otseng wrote: Yes, you two are free to discuss the rules privately via PM.
I don't care what people say about you... you're alright in my book.
Dogmatism and skepticism are both, in a sense, absolute philosophies; one is certain of knowing, the other of not knowing. What philosophy should dissipate is certainty, whether of knowledge or ignorance.

We need you on this thread. (Skip over the serious posts. I don't know how they sneaked in.)Fides et Veritas wrote: Well... he answered my question well enough so that I appreciate. However, if he is in the Library he had best be doing it quietly. I will get the little old lady with the ruler to smack his hands if he answers rules questions too loudly.

I'm on it.
I darn neared pissed myself with some of those answers the display of logic is outstanding. I think we should handcuff all the moderators and admins on one specific day of the year and raid all other forums with the same brain smashing logically, logical logic!!

We missed April 1. But July 14 might be appropriate.Fides et Veritas wrote: I'm on it.

BTW I am a mod. If you handcuff me I will miss the fun.

Anyway best to continue this on the referenced thread. This particular forum is supposed to be serious.
