TANSTAAFL - This stands for "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch." The phrase probably originated at a time when it was a common practice for saloons to offer free food to anyone who bought a drink. The food wasn't really free because the price the saloons charged for the drinks was high enough to cover the cost. In many of our dealings with other people things that seem to be free really aren't; we are paying for them in ways that aren't apparent to us.

This isn't true when we deal with God. When he says something is free it really is.
Come, everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price.
(Isaiah 55:1 ESV)
If we stop relying on people and start trusting God TANSTAAFL becomes TIAFLBAD - There is a free lunch, breakfast, and dinner.
His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
Romans 1:20 ESV
