Questions

Post by theStudent »

I just have a few questions before I start.
Guidelines on preaching
10. Do not present your views dogmatically. Instead, preface your views with "According to my interpretation" or "I believe that God would" or "In my opinion".
Can I also say,
'The scriptures say at John 3 vs 16..." or
"The apostle Paul said..." or "Jesus said here at..."?

Can I use an image or video to illustrate the point I am making from the scriptures?

In the event that someone inquires as to what organization, group, or belief system I am associated with, what am I allowed to say, or not say?

Thank you.

If it's directly related to a question that someone asks, it is acceptable to say these things. But, if it's not related at all, then it can be construed as preaching.
