I have never hear of the word "consummate" used in the context of marriage to mean anything than to make the marriage complete by having sexual intercourse.

Response: This may be true. However, the word consummate is an English word. Not Arabic. So even if one argued it means sex, that does not go against Islam. The actual Arabic does not mean sex and the word consummate has been used other times in hadith to not refer to sex.

So my question is, why does Islam support child rape?
My question is why does the West still tolerate Islam? Why haven't we banned the religion from our country?

Islam does NOT embrace child rape? How did you come up with such a idea?

Back in the time of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and earlier; girls were allowed to get married, once they had reached puberty; In Prophet Muhammad's case: he married Aisha when she was 6 years old, but didn't consummate the marriage until she reached puberty, at the age of 9 years.

Child Marriage in Islam

There are multiple Sahih Hadith that explain that Aisha was Pre-pubescent at her marriage. That she played dolls with her friends and with her husband is well documented. That she came from her swing to the marriage bed is also documented.
Also Surah 65:4 gives the Iddah or waiting period after the divorce of the child who has not yet menstruated. It is 3 months to ensure that she is not pregnant. This is confirmed by the Tasfirs and the scholars as the meaning of Surah 65:4

If a wife has not been touched then there is no Iddah or waiting period. She may remarry straight away.

As there is no lower age limit for marriage in Islam or Sharia - then there is also no lower limit for sexual intercourse. It is said that so long as the girl can bear the weight of the man, and it is agreed by the Father and the Husband. But in any case she MUST submit by the age of 9 irrespective of the start of puberty. It is the age that matters and that is because of Aisha.

No; If you study the Authentic Hadith in SAHIH BUKHARI and SAHIH MUSLIM, for example, and also study the HOLY QUR'AN TAFSIR by the renowned Scholar IBN KATHIR, you will find that Aisha (RA), had reached Puberty by the age of Nine years, and so that's why Prophet Muhammad (SAW) consummated the marriage when she was 9 years old.
